A little snow.. :)

Well we got our little bit of that first snow and loved it! Of course it helped that we both were able to be home and not have to venture anywhere unless we wanted to. :) Priceless I say. In one day it started lightly and then continued all......all....all day. So by night fall it was about 7 inches of white snow fun. Celebrating Baptism

We spent the past weekend with family and friends for Miss G and Ashlyn's Baptism. We were blessed to be able to have them baptised together. It was such a special day. Jered (my brother) and I were also baptised in this church oh so many years ago.

Miss G was so beautiful in her dress and loved all the attention of the day. She was great thru the service. We didn't get much of a picture together with the girl's but this one. Ashlyn was ready for a nap and not cooperating, but still cute as ever.

Here's the happy families. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family, husband, daughter and life. I'm truly thankful this year to have so many simple blessings.

Playing with Gpa Mc...

Grandpa McGrath was here to spend some time with us while he was down from Canada. Gma had to stay up there, but we had a great time time him still. It was fantastic to have him here he was a great help to get the kitchen prepped for a new paint job, he fixed the floor under the dishwasher (we've had a leak that softened the floor) and fixed the leak. He also was a huge help to re-organized that back room full of boxes I need to go through still. He also surprised me and painted one of the walls in the dining room so we could see the color, it looks great! It's always way to short of a visit, but we took him to the ferry to head back up to the great northern country.

Playdate with Benson..

We have a great friend, Benson who we go have play dates with almost every week. It's great fun and a good chance to learn about sharing our toys. :) The mommies have fun too. Here's a few photos from some of our playtime.

It always happens this way.. the boy steals the toy, but now Miss G takes it back too. It's actually funny to watch the two of them.

Halloween..

Our first Halloween..it was quiet and we just had fun. Miss G was a little ladybug for her first trick or treat. A great friend passed on the costume for us and we put it to good use. Here's a few photos from our fun. As you can see she's inherited that fair skin from her mother too. :)
