Snowday!

We had a bit of snow come down and went for a family snow day. The snow has started in the afternoon prior and didn't stop! It sure was pretty and so much fun for our first time to play with Miss G in the white fluff. By morning when we woke it was a good 10 inches so we jumped in the Charger, baby and all and went for a bit of sightseeing. A few backwoods roads along the power lines and a bit of 4x4 fun. It was Miss G's first time going off road and she had fun, but slept most of the time! Crazy girl on the bumpy, crossing rivers and creeks, over trees terrain she slept. Then I have days at home she wakes to the slightest little peep. Oh, well we had lots of fun and went and checked the lake, which was almost totally frozen over. We were pretty much the only ones out there which was peaceful and made for some great memories.

Before we hit the roads as soon as we got up and had breakfast I had to dress Miss G up and get her out to play with the snow for the first time! She loved it....wasn't quite sure about touching it at first but once she saw it melt in her hand she was all up for grabbing more. We (I) made her first snowman too. With a little friendly birdy on top. :)

Miss G loves to play with Bear and she has learned how to pet him and he moves all around in pleasure and moans, then she giggles and laughs even more. It's quite the scene and fun for us to watch. :) I'm glad they both get along and he is very patient with her when she's around him..

Suzi and her boys stopped by for a visit and Landon and Miss G both loved playing the piano, Miss G will sit and play as long as I let her. Landon loved it too. It made for some great old fashioned fun. :)

The Brownie project..

Miss G was in the kitchen playing while I was making some "winter brownies" w/chocolate frosting and those candy canes Miss G found earlier. :)

I had so much fun laughing with her as she was doing her best.

She is just sooo proud of herself.. hee hee.

She has a fascination with her tongue and sticking it out at us. then I'm sure it doesn't help that we do it to her too.. it just all makes for good ole' fashioned fun.

Happy New Year

We spent a nice cozy and welcome New Year's Eve at home playing with Miss G. One of our favorite things to do! It's been so wet and rainy John's been home for a few days which I've enjoyed, he's been trying to get a few things done outside and such. Here are a few fun photos from the last few days/weeks.

She found this in the bag (which I forgot was in there). She was just sucking on it with the cellophane still wrapped around it at first and then she found out how to break it open and boy did she like that.. hee hee of course. She kept looking at me with this look of, really your letting me keep this really are you sure your not going to take it ... it was totally cute. :)

Miss G loves our dog, he's pretty good with her too. Daddy and her had a great time giving him some loves.

It was such a beautiful sunny day we had to go outside and get a few shots for the photo album. We sat in our new chair we got for Christmas from Aunt Jo-jo and Uncle Mike, which you can see she loves. :)
